Further in relation to the route that I take home and the traffic that streams along it… there is quite a bit. Enough to cause traffic jams, though none like the size that I have been fortunate to witness in the sprawl of Tokyo, they are often 40+k’s. There is a steady flow, but not one that is too great.
The interesting thing is that I have rarely seen accidents, apart from the little touch ups that cars go through, until this week.
There have been three significant accidents that have rendered both vehicles involved in the “prang” immobile. They would no longer function under their usual movements and have to be significantly repaired or more so moved on to the vehicle graveyard.
Does this mean that the more that I witness an accident the closer I come to be involved in one? What are the statistics in that one? I’m sure that someone has kept those or even studied those somewhere, sometime a while ago or even more recently.
